Another Dance number

This was inspired by Crystal’s poem “The Tango” on “The Open Scroll”.

Pounding in your veins
Like the beat of ages past
Cresendo, pleasendo
The heels of the women
Mounting fury

Pounding in your feet
To beat the heart that love will flog
The night it beats the flame
And life is never again the same

Pounding in your heart
Like ice monsters in your head
Melting your path below
