The setting sun shown through the polluted atmosphere dispensing its light for the pleasure of the Watchers. One Watcher said that the sky looked like Mother of Pearl. That made sense somehow. The sand is a source of friction and I am one grain. Perhaps if I'm caught in the mouth of the oyster, I will be transformed. |

This is a wonderful poem! "The sand is a source of friction and I am one grain. Perhaps if I'm caught in the mouth of the oyster, I will be transformed." I want to say something unique and touching to you... but i fear my words won't be enough. I would love to see this published... it touched me so... as i can empathize with this thought. Thank you for finding a way to say this. These words might not have been for me... but i feel better knowing i've read them. "Who you are speaks so loudly...I can hardly hear what you are saying" |

The depth and range linked to the message and the subtleness of the link is very imaginative I do love the way you have linked what I feel are 2 parts of a poem with the subtlety making them 2 parts Very nice Dave |

I get your pearly write, and appreciate it. On the other hand, the thought of lying in a bed made of oyster flesh makes me cringe. Ha Ha! I bet it's salty in there, though, so maybe it wouldn't be so bad! McLean |

iliana, I can imagine that we engaged in a conversation about the beautiful sunset before. Yes, pollution, despite the downfalls, can set beautifully in the western sky. Also, neat reference to sand and pearl. This poem is right up my alley... ~Sadie~ |

Sadie, perhaps we did. Thanks for posting. By the way, I really loved the Rocking Chair poem; it was a wonderful coordination of words. |

ooh, I like them both, but that second one... ***BRAVO*** That second one could be a spring board for a daily devotion...or an entire sermon. May I share it with our pastor? Giving you credit, of course. Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |
