Go Where the Wild Goose Goes?

Even the wild geese
run amok today.
They flit and fly
directionless;
argue over the navigator’s post.

Not making a vee-line
to the north or south,
but flying aimlessly,
this way and that,
thin then fat
in breadth of wings.

They sing; no, cry,
as they go by,
their vee wavering
into a double u or a zee.

Oh, me,
has all this world
lost sight of its Guide?

Do even the creatures of the air
flit here and there
not knowing where
to find
peace of mind,
the kind that rests
in comfortable understanding,
or beyond its perfection?

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Hi Virginia...
I've often times wondered myself if the birds get confused...especially in the winter when we can go from mild days to bitter cold.
Well done.
Hugs~

    In the midst of winter..
I found there lives within me,
    an invincible summer.

Virginia, I also wonder.

(big hugggsssssss) Even when I feel the birds have more direction than we do, I only wish all geese could fly in V's across the sky! (sigh) That can be so impessionable, God Bless You, let's pray we can unite in peace, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Virginia, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

VAS -- Besides this being a really good write, it struck a chord with me.  I've noticed the same things with birds, in particular.  (I see birds as messengers sometimes.)
