Tax Collectors - loving the deep meaning too much On a pure crystal you sing Weaving magic on your wing Ice firing from desire beneath Sunbathing friends Drying their wings This is a day to live Magic firing your words Songs no-love no-one heard Still with sorrow as you perch Heat melting every dream Heart bursting every seam Melting your stars to die River floods your desire Rocks calm your flight to fire Torrents race to your ire Politics an cowardly escape Peace with frenzy Warm your heart Cold love your magic Birth to start Perhaps |
