Today I ate the law, a statute, a simple law of no significance which I nibbled absentmindedly as would a child chew on his fingernails, then I wiped the crumbs of a last few whereas's and wherefore's off of my chin and went in search of a habeas corpus. Now some might be heard to say one should not eat the law, but it is not illegal, leastways not in Kansas, California law might say otherwise, or so I read right before I ate. |

Inasmuchas most laws are a waste of the paper they are written on, why not eat them?! At least some purpose would be served from the chopping down of all those trees! And just think of the beneficial effect of the additional fibre in our diet! Do you have any praecipe recipes, preferably something easy to digest? |

Interesting... I can understand why one might want to eat a law or two. Maybe even follow it up with a lawyer. |
