To find of answers I must know

Could you spare some words that heal?
A voice to help the injured deal
A hand of friendship that I need
A wise man’s thought that I can seed

Please show just once, that I will know
And show the way that I should go
Then I will be one happy man
Who lives the dream as best he can

Dreamless

If I had a dream
I'd share it with the world
my trembling voice raised singing
and my flags of hope unfurled.

If I had a dream
I'd share it all with you
every last detail and tone
each distant tinted hue.

If I had a dream
we'd live it to the tee-
but alas, I am dreamless,
though not for long
so until I can compose my song,

I enjoyed your poem Dixie, so here it is, My dream.

I dream of when I waken to a morning filled with love
When all the questions deep within come answered from above
I dream of peace throughout the world, a land of mans reprieve
I dream of days that carry hope and people who believe
I dream of being more than one who travels just one road
I dream of friends, so many friends who lighten up my load
I dream we all are happy and without the need to cry
I dream that I'm so lucky and my soul will never die
I dream, I dream and then I wake to try and live the dream
My dream then does become my life and life becomes my dream

You inspired this tonight Dixie, I am about post it now, thanks.
