(Author's note: A creek is is pronounced "crick" to my way of thinking.) Today When lengthy days stretch out ahead, the kind you want to stay in bed, or sit about and message friends, or ponder what your life portends, you need to get the chores done quick, or else you'll soon be up the creek. When such days appear to you, I hope you don't begin them blue. Today's the day; it's all we have, So use it for a mental salve. You'll find that when the day is gone, Your life is full, so stop that frown. |
