My love for you was stained
with the scars of past flames.
Too profound to disdain,
fears too wild to tame.

Painful & plentiful burns
only your touch could smother,
the memory of loss returns...
do you promise to be another?

The color of lust & love
all too displayed in your eyes.
I pray for strength from above,
my soul and skin cries...

for you...

To steal the very breathe,
which accompanies the tears
that fall when wishing for death
to save me from these years.

Maybe faith will visit tomorrow
and come down to raise me high,
so that I may look down upon my sorrow
and no longer cry.

And, I'm hoping Faith finds a home in you.  Sad, lovely write.
