As a palm tree fans across the sea,  let me be
your passionate flora, draped gracefully.

Let me ease the burning sensation
and shade you from the summers sweltering.

Let me be your paradise breeze
and the lush ferns that thrive on humidity.

Let me be the snap in your sails
caressing your face, offshore in the wind.

Let me be your day after tomorrow
painting pastels in the sky at twilight.

Let me rock you to sleep in a tropical heat
and swim in your eyes at sunrise.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~Just a little something to warm up a winters day~
Bluesy, you knock me off my feet with some of your one liners, like:
"Let me rock you to sleep in a tropical heat
and swim in your eyes at sunrise."
Absolutely, beautiful! .........jo
iliana~ That was sweet of you,  thank you so much.
In spite of the nice weather we're having on the left coast,
it gets cold at night, and I think my heater died.
Thanks ER~
Let me be the snap in your sails
caressing your face, offshore in the wind.
I never could resist sailing.  Such elegant offers for closeness.  Well done.  Ken
