The continuation of Weobaei -- the word that morphs.  This one was inspired by reading Midnitesun's poetry about horses.

An arabian stallion running free
the ancient floors of humanity,
mane entangled in the wind
his whinnies, music, a glorious hymn.

Omahpaista join his side
wings unfurled, protectors fly.
Pegasus, Greeks knew him so.
Weobaei, how I know him now.

Born to be as he is, free.
He lives his life naturally.
The way it is, the way it was,
the true nature of his being.

Midnitesun -- I'm so glad you got to see it -- I'm not really sure it's done yet, but I hurried to get the thought up so you would know (before you become unplugged) that you inspired something!

Thanks! the PC and the phone are always the last things out the door, LOL, and they won't be loaded up into the truck until Feb. But you can keep writing more equine tails I hope to still have a couple hours a day for online stuff, including Pips.

I want to be that when I grow up.

iliana,
How can you do this so well and so quickly?  I'm envious... tell that some day it will run in the family!

Thanks, Sadie.  You're a sweetie.  It does, and I emphasize does, in my humble opinion, run in the family!

iliana...

I can really feel the freedom in this verse. Thank you so much for imparting that!
