We meet…
And the beauty
of Your essence
surrounds me…
Fills me with wonder
and love…

A soft caress,
A lingering touch…

The sigh of breath
that catches my heart
and flings it into
yet another reality.

To live…
And to love
As One being...
As One heart...
As One soul…

This is infinitely
more glorious
than mere mortal
imagination can consume.

Our minds reel
at the possibility
Of such freedom…
Of such existence…
Of such exquisite
Divine creation.

It takes only One
To know…
To discover…
To blaze a trail
that shines on the path
of enlightenment
and provides us courage
to be the truly
spectacular creations
we were meant to be.

So, take my hand,
My Beloved…
Let me lead you
to paradise.
Shangri-la is waiting…
and the key?

The only key
is Your love.

This I know as Truth...we are all Beings of Light.

Hi Jaicie,
This poem reminds me of Burns I think you have a excellent style, although the poem is long you maintain the rhyme and come through with a lovely poem well done.

Thank you so much for your comments! I do appreciate the read!

Oh..and, Richard...stay tuned! LOL I'm learning to be "succinct" from my very shiny friend, Ericc...and, who knows? One of these days, I might actually succeed! This is one of the longest I've written in awhile, though!
