It takes a broken heart that aches
more tangible than you may think

to find that inner place of peace
and make it fly and mean it

like yellow roses speak
a language all their own

bloom and grow outside the gate
landing where the seeds have flown

taking care to clear the air
arranged in a bouquet of song

bittersweet the melody
that fills the wonder, full~

Bluesy, this was lovely.  I'm in total agreement with what you say so eloquently.

Yes, it does...and yes they do. And yes you do. Yellow roses...the perfect color for this, the right meaning.

Thank you everyone, for stopping to smell the roses.
They really did bloom on their own, just about the time I thought they were dead!

Wonders never cease, and can be the nicest inspiration.

Thanks again, so much!

This is lovely Blues. Takes me away from the winter day to a springtime garden in my mind. hugs, Chris

Lori, I was going to copy and paste my
favorites of this beautiful poem, and
found myself about to copy all of it. LOL
It is beautiful and I love yellow roses too.
