A letter, borne on the wings of war,
given as a gift, one treasured piece of
written speech....to be whispered eloquently
into the waiting ear.

A stirring of heart upon the maiden’s sigh,
loftily taken into the moon’s rise, left hanging
tenderly, twirling in the breeze of a comet’s
brush....unopened.

Oh but to feel and see the face of passionate
blush before the rustle of a morning air onto
the silkiness of a slumbering face...before a
smile opens to the pearlescent view of dreams
lying contentedly on the warmth of a chest
beating courageously, in wait of a knock upon
the chambers door...

And when comes the rap and tap of wooden
slats before the waking rise, let the breath of
one’s surprise carry the scurry of farewell
silently into the empty corridors....

Until again we meet...and a letter falls in
feather’s flutter...proclaiming to all of
love in hurried verse upon a fortnight
clear.

this is the second post by you that I've read and I've enjoyed reading both of them. Your one that I'm going to be paying close attention to.
