We are all real We are all ourselves We dont move from a core Most people feel that if you write poetry you must have personally experienced what you write - rubbish I say read of one Poet who if he wrote all that happened to him, lost his legs in badajos breeches, had a sexton toll his knell and was writing a magazine in England at the time We write to use our imagination, our brains, our thoughts on life and we enjoy that Why do you think we have so many reporters keen on making the news rather than reporting it Poetry is a lot of things to a lot of people dave |

I agree with everything you've said. I was actually responding to a post by "professor Gloom" - he was wondering what cool is these days. I don't think its cool to try to create an image. I think its being the person who you are. |
