Come, February

Why do I have to wait for you
wearing your cold plate of sky

I can drain down in this sun warm
chill-off in memories closet anytime

No  not sky a cloud

Listen to the edge
aware of thin lines
then fall

Feel the way the skin turns
like opening oranges
bitter    bitter
the sweet

Down   down
into the sweet juice of grief
is a place pure and remorseless

Yes, I can find you
any time

Ahh, my friend...
I'm still opening
tangerines
and feeling the fruit juice well...
when we allow the swell, sometimes the bitter
becomes sweet...

Edges of the skin

Yes

Words can sometimes move you
to understand what moves you

I enjoyed your words.

All humanity needs to sing,
Poem songs, as this we need...
Love the lyrics of this piece,
Dear Martie;
Especially these....

Martie this is very wonderful. A serenity, and peace comes across as I read your words. I feel basked in Februarys warmth and captivated by the surroundings that you've placed me in. Thank you.
