Tis the season to be thankful- At least that's what they say. But I remain so lonely, Ever since you went away. I knew from the beginning- I'd never hold your heart... But mine, tonight, is grasping- Although we are far apart. It's true I never held you- At least not in my arms... But still I feel I've loved you- And tasted of your charms. The cold and sullen silence- Makes me sit and wonder, "Why? Why has she gone and left me, And never said "goodbye"? It doesn't really matter... At least that's what I say. Dear,have a happy holiday, On this Thanksgiving day. |
