My pace on the pathway is a bit slower today than last year’s footfall. But it matters not, for I am thankful once again for the opportunity generously gifted to me, to walk alongside Mother Nature’s treasures, her splendid magical moments so very precious and sacred, her bounty blessing me with each step. So many times I’ve begged for warm sunshine on my wintered face, only to find myself begging for snow or rain on a scorching August afternoon. Somehow, I usually get what I need, if not what I want. And for this, I offer thanks to the powers that be, for allowing me to celebrate another Thanksgiving Day. ***Happy Thanksgiving to everyone*** |
