      Inflatable Time        

Time and again I've asked myself
what present could i give him
in limitations charred


no philatelist stamp placed on birthday card
no canceled dates or doodled art
no presence of a face


i'd design for him, an inflatable ball
filled with air of time
to inhale his dreams preventing fall


A pick-me-up this balloon would be
to remind him of his many gifts,
to fill him with the wind
