When My Thoughts TurnTo You Wondering shall I write again Its still too early to tell Nothing seems to flow Going through this dry spell Erasing the melancholy blue I need removal of doubt By whetting my appetite In words to break my drought My muse stroking word keys To excite with reaction Stimulating with offerings To the sounds of satisfaction When my thoughts turn to you Arousing me into verse You slide over my tongue I know it is your words I thirst HopeĀ©2004 |

This reminded me of when i was going through a dry spell and wrote "Which One Color Should I Use?" I think it is one of my better ones, although I started out with a blank, perhaps, sharing the same quest as you. (I'm not sure if it's in #30 or the archives.) In my mind I wondered how I could say the fewest words (instead of paintingwith a thousand words). I think you did a very nice job! I enjoyed this and your skills as a poet. Satelite |

a poet always writes, even if it's not on paper, the voice is always there we just have to be still enough to hear it |
