Somewhere in the sunlight strong He's alone as he waits for me Every path I take is wrong But in my dreams, he's all I see Through shadows, fog and misty nights I run to meet his waiting embrace The stars and moon my only lights My beacon in the night, his face I cling to memories, from distant lands When you and I once kissed Now I'm left here empty handed Running towards what I had missed Till someday in that glorious sun I find your loving arms My years of racing, finally won Sanctuary from life's harms The sun beats down to bathe the land There we are hand in hand Forever in my dreams |
