Just a brief few times per year
   In silence does she reappear
A sight for all who need a glimpse
   Of what does lie beyond

A hole is trimmed in Mother's sky
   Revealing Heavens held on high

Perfect symbol, guiding light
   Is present monthly for our sight
To remind us gently without pretense
   Of what does lie beyond

More than a thing placed in the air
   More than an object hanging there
A sight for all who need a glimpse

when I was young and the moon was full, I always saw a "window" to something greater beyond our sky, instead of a "thing" placed in our sky, kind of like a pair of scissors was used to cut a peep hole in the night

(big angel hugs) Awwwwwwww, isn't that just a wonderful feeling, dearest friend? When I was a little boy, I always saw the dress of a ladybug, the inside of a sunflower, the depths of a bee's honeycomb, and imagined the magical worlds within them all with pixies and leprechauns and Mexican hat dancers, hehehe! (giggles) This is so cute, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet McLean, thank you for sharing!
