someday
you will meet me
and we will kiss
in the darkness
unaware of identity
(if only in a dream)

someday
you will realize
that it was me
that you kissed
suddenly you know
(if only in a dream)

someday
you’ll wish
that you had
gotten to know me
because you loved me
(if only in a dream)

someday
i’ll tell you
that i always loved you
since the day we met
in the darkness
(if only in a dream)

someday
we’ll overcome
all of the odds
and find happiness
among ourselves
(if only in a dream)

i dont actually know if i like this one. it's a lot different than what i usually write and i don't really like the style i used or the repetition. but give me your opinions, guys. i value them! -katie-

Honest opinion? *S* I love the style... but the repetition detracts from an otherwise beautiful poem. *S*
