The Point of Know Return

0 posted 2004-01-08 03:14 PM

I wake up
To an image
Of myself
Mirror.
Liar.
Worthless sinner.
Smile;
I’m only kidding.
Maybe.

Lose yourself
I’m lost
In the image of love
Black hole
Spinning
Dizzy.
Where am I
In this life?
Where am I
On this road?
I’m young
Yet still lost
I forgot my map
And keys to my brain
At home
In the loft

Thought
Is death.
I’ve died
A billion times.

Find it
You left it
In the rain
It’s coming
Your way
He’s searching
For your arms
Of mental affliction
Once again.

She had
Given me
The power
To believe
In oracles,
Beauty

Music…

Her song pounded
Within my ears
Her world revolved
Within my head
Whirling on an axis
Of tattered hope

What’ll she say?
I don’t care
She’s not here

What is electric?
Poetry
Of some sort
All I know
She doesn’t like it.
I don’t care
She’s not here.

May the wings
Of the glowing angel
Guide me
Through heaven
It’s in shambles.

No,
It was never there.

I’m spent,
Wasted
Drunk with the water
Of the fountain
Of ruptured youth

I’m terribly sorry
A week’s worth
Of time
Never gave you
A second thought
I hope that’s all right.
Hello?
Oh well,
She’s not here.

She’s destined to murder
Broken
Hearts
Strewn together
Thursday garbage

I quit.
I have returned
To the only angel
This soulless world
Can afford.
I have returned
To the only angel
This soulless life
Is worth.

Entity is of the essence
Bring us back home.
