Conscience beats down on me
like the eyes
of an angry child like god
sending postrate
in instant confession
save me from myself
as I shrivel under self degredation
"I want to be good"
crying inside
til I decide that tressgression
has disconnected
from heavenly throne
Wandering alleys
looking to the skies
for nickels from heaven
Sadly
I only feel hell's fires
lapping my feet.

And I want to accept other points of view sometimes, be liked by many only to realize that that would be at the cost of defending a previously held view that is a pillar to my existance..and will have me liked by fewer men
