You have swallowed me up.
Consumed me in your madness.
At the least, you could regurgitate
if I don't sit that well.

Yet, you leave me undigested.
I'm curdling here inside.
Spit me out if I taste sour.
     Have mercy on my pride.

Harash, thank you for your comments.  At the time I wrote it, I meant every word -- but time does change the way we feel about many things, doesn't it.

Very nice, short and to the point,
I like that in poetry.
As for the feelings that spawned the poem
“Time wounds all heels” or something like that,
get yourself a nice pick coat and sooth the nerves with a sweet cup of tea.

As for that particular heel -- yes, time did wound it!  Tea is good.  Thanks for stopping by, Gloom.  As for the myth behind the other poem you read -- Third Installment of Weobaei, there is none -- unless you would want to compare it with the Biblical story of Joseph and his multicolored coat.  The strange words in the Weobaei poems (and there will be a series which will define what these words really mean; you learn by reading) are words invented in me -- hope you have a chance to read the first two.

Iliana - I just received an email from the person to whom your poem was intended.  He asked me to post his poem for him in response to your wonderful poem.  OK?

ILLIANA...please disregard those two crude/rude guys...Balladeer and LongJohn, I'm the only one you can trust...sweet, shy, quiet, subdued Toerag....I'm sure you've noticed that I'm the good guy with the white hat...those two are evil!!!!!!

Don't pay any mind to those three rascals
that seem to flit here and there and back
again....and again....

Loved the metaphorical write,  said well.
