Mortality

Mortality slips thru the tears,
In the fabric of the universe;
And between the floorboards
Of the foundations of our lives.
Bringing with it
The mist of obscurity,
And the fog of forgetfullness.
In the aftermath,
We find ourselves bewildered.
Gazing at the reflection of our youth
Thru eyes blurred,
By the passing of the years;
And dimmed by the darkness
Of unfulfilled dreams.

sadly,,,,,hind sight is 20/20,,,,,,its the loss and time,,,that blurs it

Michelle........agreed- hindsight is 20/20......but if we chose to really live and seize every moment of every day......we may look thru blurred vision but those dreams may not be all unfulfilled.
