Photo From Webshots

Some things that inspire me to write are...

The smile on a babies face
or a puppy dog running and playing
A little bird singing in a tree
   or a butterfly flying free

The gentle breeezes of the wind
   ~~whispering~~
      in my ear
The moon     the stars     the sky
   with its sunsets    sunrises
     and clouds

Rain drops falling   or the sun  shining
and snow falling on the ground
Flowers of every kind
   with their fragrances
     and their color

But do you know what is
my greatest inspiration       of all
  yes      you are right.......

YOU
        and our wonderful     LOVE
                  we share!

For you, my Love,
have a smile as sweet and tender
as the one on a babies face
And you are as playful and loving
as a little puppy dog as it runs and plays

Your love makes me as happy as
  a little bird singing
  or a butterfly flying free

And, it's your voice I hear
whispering your love in my ear
through the breezes of the wind
It's your face I see in the stars
of the sky and the moon
  the sunsets and sunrises
The two of us, I see floating on the clouds

And, oh yes, My Love
When the rain falls    the sun shines
or the snow covers the ground
there you are holding me close     as we feel

And each beautiful flower that blossoms
   with the color and fragrance
is as precious and delicate as our love is

Oh yes, my Love
   You and our love is
   my greatest inspiration of all
......

Oh Ethel...you have outdone yourself with this write!
Love the comparisons.
Extremely well done.
Strange sometimes the things that inspire us...
Hugs~

Ethel - This was a nice poem [insert disappointed sigh here], but after three times through the poem, I have yet to find "LngJhnAg" anywhere NEAR "inspiration."  Perhaps another read will help? lol

Your ways of expressing this great love are seemingly infinite...and I love them all.  KJ

I believe that love inspires all poetry, even the sad ones are based on the loss of it....enjoyed

(smiles) Awwwwwwwwww, your beautiful comparisons of your golden true love brought tears to my face as I wish for you and Gary's love to always flitter as a butterfly and happily prance about like a puppy! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ethel, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
