HAUNTING THE ROOM
(MY SOUL)

My eyes close to the sound

Of your presence haunting the room

You like to leave your pieces

So my mind is puzzled by you

Meticulously putting it into perspective

Your words leave me confused

Harmed by the possibilities ahead

And the unknown ways of being in your life

What would if feel like to be your one?

A constant regret or continuing fulfillment?

Whatever the case, you leave me mesmerized

As each day passes that I don’t speak up

Another day without the answers

Of how you can close my eyes wide shut

And make me open to each and every possibility…

Hopes from illusions, or realities denied by fear. Some things are so easy to think and so hard to say, each time you think you can the courage fades away.
