Speaking to the trees They answered back from a green leafy darkness Where trees talk to men Where fear need not exist Every branch lay in movement Remembering unfinished conversation Pulling on wool socks and warm shirts They become as we…life embraces like mittens Whispering some good-byes Descending from hidden places And, after a long silence I knew that a piece of my life was over |
