you once whispered
as silently as the wind
into my ear
that you loved me

that whisper withered
into something i could feel
but not know for sure
like the presence of the wind

your love for me
has faded into the sunshine
of summer
as wind dies down in heat

very good comparison,,,,,,you can feel the wind caress you and ease away,,,as you can feel the whisper of love on your heart then sense it die,,,,,,,i like your poem
