Oh how I long for
peaceful
surroundings
of serenity

A place where there is
quietness and still
a peaceful noise

A place where
there is no turmoil
no misunderstandings
where all is peace
happiness
a place of calmness

Somewhere where we
can just   BE
in tranquility
You and I together

Peaceful solitude...
come up here Ethel..
when it snows it acts like a blanket on the earth
and everything is soooo quiet.
Wonderful write,

this reminds me of the mountains in North Carolina... though I've been close to them, I've never been in them, I want to go

Thank you, Michele. That's all we want, is
just to be together somewhere alone....it
doesn't matter where, just so it is forever.

Thanks Alyssa. I'm glad that you like it.
And how are you today?
.
.
Nancy Lee, oh how I wish that Gary and I could be there.
That's just what we need......the quietness
and just to be together. thank you, my friend.

Thank you, Eric, I'm glad that you liked it.
I appreciate it so much.

Oh my Ethel, this is exactly where I live...

mountains everywhere..and every poet needs a place of tranquility...so often I have thought the same with GR.....lets go to the edge of the earth..away from it all...just you and I.....

I've not been able to be here much of late, but it is most wonderful to recognize how much I've missed reading your work and the tale of your love.

Ah yes, Ethel, but if you ever found that place, would you still write as well as you do now?  You channel your emotions into creativity so very well.

Ahh, wouldn't we all love this? Perhaps that is exactly what heaven is, but wouldn't it be grand to have heaven on earth?
