How does one get the intimacy they desire
How do we get it after all we are tired
I don’t just mean that bedtime bump
Though that is important not meaning to ignore
So quiet we sit minds wondering what
Is going on inside that other one we love
Don’t we have something to say
Don’t we need to give away
The things we think and feel and ponder
The fantasies that make us tremble
So how do we get emboldened to say
The things we feel and think away
Doesn’t it seem right to give and take
The things we see the things we think
So how do we get the help we need
To get going on this nefarious deed
No really it isn’t such a bad thing to do
We just need to get in each others shoes
And offer depth we have experienced
To each other as we watch the face
Of the one we have loved for many a day

Oh my Paul...a deep write to ponder on this dark winter's morn.
I believe rather than just thinking about it...spit it out...talk about it..
before it's allowed to grow and fester.

Paul, I think this is the only good thing in a long distance relationship. My Love and I write very long letters and our phone calls could go on for hours. When we are together we talk and talk and talk, because we haven't seen each other every day. We both have revealed our inner feelings and thoughts to each other more than we ever have to anyone else in our lives. I think one of the reasons is that we love each other unconditionally and aren't afraid that some feeling we reveal will cause the other to stop.

Paul...I believe it is trust and respect that will take a couple there. Trust that one will respect the other's feelings forever and always.
