Sing robins sing in joyous song, For spring has come, no more to long The pass of winter’s stinging cold, Comes gentle breeze of spring’s unfold. Aye, spring is here, to heaven’s sing, Sing robins sing of springtime’s bring. Green of grass and flower’s bloom Fragrant scent of spring’s perfume, Let cattle birth and children play, As maples bud and branches sway, In gentle breezes of the spring, Sing robins sing, in glory sing. Young lovers walk along the lane, Falls gentle mist of spring’s first rain, Winter wheat from earth does waken, First wobbly steps by fawn are taken, Comes forth the spring in verdant glory, As once again is told the story In the song as robins sing, Sing robins sing, of springtime’s bring, For spring has come no more to long, Sing robins sing, sing springtime’s song. |

Are you begging for snow, Sir? Enjoying this so much - and indeed, the last couple of mornings have felt like spring, yes... but now I fear you've done the pre-spring dance, and we'll be up to our, well, there! in snow! Enjoyed this, Sir. Thank you! |

Bravo! Love this piece Tim. Well done. Wish spring was here but alas Winter is about to unleash its' beast. Great poem. Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history! |
