I try everyday,
To feel happy
To be accepted
To fit in,
But it never works
No matter how hard I try
The pain grows and grows with each moment that passes.
My unrest is unsettling
Making every stride harder
My grief is stronger
Than my will to go on
I can’t continue feeling like this
I’m falling farther and farther into this pit
Everything is growing darker
I’m consumed with my rage
My hatred
My hurt
My feelings
Have gone astray
The feeling grows and grows
Tearing at my soul
I cry out in anguish
Because no one knows
How I feel
I can never explain to them
How I got here
They wouldn’t understand
They could never help
They never could figure me out
Even with my help
Those where my feelings
Till I met you
And now
I can begin anew
