Your Music On a rose-colored pedestal you sit Comfortable yet? Wrapped in the robes of admiration I can’t touch you… Like a wise stone you lay An old soul wrapped in generations You know what you want I’ll try to be that someday Another morning and again I fail Snapping out of a dream is the saddest sound for a broken heart The kisses were so real But you’re still so far away The moon and stars would never please you A restless nomad in a stable life Surrounded by things you don’t want And given nothing you need Music is all I want to be So close to the heart, so ready in the mind Able to cure any wound, ease any pain Get off the stage and sing to me The lights are dim and the ghosts enjoy the show The snap is coming The worst sound in the world… |

Sadness of waking from a dream is felt very strongly....To be lost in the music of the dream the desired goal....Wonderful writing... |

hmmm...this is so real...It's like when I read it, I get the feeling that it's about me...hang in there! "The story of life is quicker than the wink of an eye. The story of love is Hello and Goodbye. Until we meet again..." -Jimi Hendrix |
