I'm tired of bait and switch poop popups and hooks with barbs that dig into me everytime I surf. Hey, this is MY surfboard, and I don't remember inviting YOU to SLAM and SPAM me with fads and ads. And if I want sex, drugs, rock and roll? I already know where to get it all at a much better price, thank you. ***** The above rant is directed at all the insane poop popups I've been hit with these past two weeks, that have made it nearly impossible for me to read anything without growling while closing and deleting ad after ad after ad. 2004 will be the year of the popup killers. |

My sympathies go out to you, as I know how frustrating that can be. Might want to download and run Ad-Aware to see if anything nefarious or just plain annoying has been stored locally. |

http://toolbar.google.com/ Hi Kacy, you may also want to check this out, the google toolbar has blocked over 600 of those stupid things on my computer, but remember when you do get a popup blocker, it also recognizes some of this site as a popup and you can eliminate that by using your Ctrl key to sidetrack. Ad-Aware is awesome too I use that every day to get rid of the little gremlins that burrow their way into my computer. And there will be more and more as time goes on. |

LOL, Karilea, that is funny! Thanks gang! yep, we've got Ad aware or whatever it's called, my daughter runs it every other day lately and it helps, but doesn't seem to stop them completely. They seem to know all the backdoors and open windows.  Maybe it's time to get one of those other KILL programs.  |

hehe...that's the way I like it. uh huh, uh huh...that's the way I like it.. BAMM those little boogers are gone... on the pooping of the poppers. So true it does get VERY tiring, and wears thin on the nerves for sure.Terri~  Well I will go down with this ship |
