Startled by the drums ahead
Vanished, Peter Pan slips keep away
Silent under dew drop hats the mushrooms pray
Out of sight…only out of sight

While I was looking up
My feet following the rhythm
Happily to dance the rise
Singing under dew drop skies
Out of sight…only out of sight

Spray painted fog
The earth moves keeping time
Lost among the jungle vine
Silence sets to hold me singular
In a plural percussion…fading light
Out of sight…only out of sight

Wandering the sound
Footprints warm before me…looking down
Crumbs to trail through the veil…not a sound
A yellow cap…atop the canopy that welcomes me
And from the right, stroke my cheek, a giggle blows
And from my toes…the morning rose
Out of sight…only out of sight

Kathleen, I love this sweet, cheerful and playful
write. It seemed I could see fairies and Peter Pan
skipping around while I was reading. LOL

Remedy is what you provided...a panacea for winter blues, light and airy as the first real spring day after a long cold winter.

You make me want to dance with your words.

Beautiful, TD.
