I will never be the rose elegant blueblood, gracious debutante white lace gloves and tea parties, just can't be the rose, ultimately doomed shelfbound trophy lives, defined and confined contained in finest crystal, let me remain here amid the weeds and the wildflowers i can slip right between them when i need to, here, there will be no expectations of me, i can spit when i jog and curse like a trucker i can grow unconfined and seep outside lines so if perchance you wander these weed fields, i shall give no directions back to conventions i have no use for tidying up though, just please let me show you the gifts of the unchartered [This message has been edited by inkedgoddess (12-31-2003 01:15 PM).] |

May I say you err a bit? Now don't get edgy, stay and sit and ponder such a rose as this... you may even get my gist... /pip/Forum44/HTML/003837.html For you, Michelle... |

Michele, one of the most valuable lessons I am learning in life is being taught to me by Gary....he is teaching me to be myself if I ever want to be happy...not to be what everyone else wants me to be or what they try to make me in to. And what is making me so happy about this is that he loves me...whoever or whatever I am. This poem sounds like you have already learned this lesson that I'm trying to learn now. Hugs to you, sweet lady, Ethel |

so cute..so like you I could be your twin except for this "i can spit when i jog and curse like a trucker i can grow unconfined and seep outside lines" I was never good at spitting not that I tried much hugs M [This message has been edited by nakdthoughts (12-30-2003 02:02 PM).] |

not to mention,,,,,,,,roses are usually a gift of last minute forgetfulness, guilt, or trying to show off,,,,,,,the wildflower picked for its simple beauty, on the whim of a sweet hearts thought,,,,,is a true treasue Michelle I wish all could find the true happiness I have found,,in the eyes of Mike |

You are a rose....a beauty red...without the thorns. and it is ok to spit but not into the wind, or curse or do what ever you want. Pretty powerful stuff you wrote...enjoyed |
