He lay awake for what seemed a fortnight Insomnia grasped his mind Bombarded with a cacophany of sounds, placed to distract for the melodramatic Melancholy awaited him in silence "I must stay awake. I have no more prayers to pray. Love has left me, yearning for the darkness which hides yet screams of the sorrow that surrounds." Another night like the other 10,236 nights he has had to endure alone and without home. No lover, no warm soul nexr to him No other's warm breath on his sweet heart or rough calysed skin Sucumb to surrender to the defening silence windchimes rattled the chilled fall wind. He curled up for warmth, beneath a brown satin skin... |

Agreeing with the other two about the whole at least it's not me thing. But, good grief...I'm not even that old, and he's had 28 years and some odd nights of the crap I'm going through right now? That would be completely depressing. Completely. |
