Tapestry

fingers unbraid
a bitter vine
twined into
this life of mine
some words spoken
some of late unsaid
make up the bulk
of raveled thread
wavy strings dangle
reaching in yearn
a different path
unstrung will learn
lines designed with
cords to believe
as I see new patterns
in this cloth I weave

You've got to watch some of those vines...
they can choke a tree to death.
Wonderful metaphors, Helen...

Excellent!

The key to recognizing the weave of karma is understanding the warp of life's lines.

Poems like this one are part of the reason why I read every word you write. Not the whole reason, but part of it.
