We rush for the weekend...
T.G.I.F...
We look forward to time off, vacations,,,and the like,,
do we honor our past with thought,,,
ponder what we've learned
see where the past teaches the future,,,,
most are so busy striving for tomorrow,
they forget yesterday,,,,
and today,,is a forgotten post-it note...
a memo rushed thru,,,,,
a school play missed in a meeting....
such a prize is tomorrow,,,,,
that we overlook the treasure,
that was yesterday,,,,

So true. Time is a commodity. Once it's gone you can't get it back, and the more time goes by the more I think to myself I have to make it all count. Thanks for reminding me of this. The older I get the more I see how much it really matters, too. Great big hug for the reminder....

Yeah, you're right. Too often, we DO rush through things with no thought of what we're doing with that moment. At the risk of sounding like Jedi Master Yoda: Always mindful of the moment, you must be.

Live each momemt like it will be your last one, that way, you ensure that you do not lose the beauty of life, or the beauty of the moment.

Very wisely said, and very well put.
