I imagine you, the quiver of a pert, glossy lip...
The pristine and flawless primp, those eyes,
pools of swirling blue.  A whisper of passion
that flows from a feathered quill onto
the smoothest of paper...yet...

It is this that I know of you, that part
which I can see, feel through my eyes.  And...
There is so much more unfelt, unseen, never
tasted or smelled....and she thirsts....

When floods fill the plain of one’s heart,
beating effortlessly,   will the last breath
breathed be heard, felt upon one's cheek? Or...

Will the fires that burn,   searing the soul..
Last into the final hours of life...wishing
upon a star...once near...though ever so
far away...

I would reach into the heavens...as my
breath is held, as my lungs burn the ache
of what is held within...that I might find
this dream for you...for your unseen
smile is so treasured by me.

Oh goodness, Barry...she, your muse, allowed your pen these words?  You're smokin', bud!  Gosh, when those breakthroughs break loose...look out!

An incredible piece of work!  I read this one about a half dozen times before I could respond.  I am going back again...

She is a friend,  much in love...  IF only
I had a baseball bat....that I might smack
him upside the head with...and knock some
sense into him,  for her. Thanx Kacy..

Well now that was a beautiful piece of work Barry, but be careful with that baseball bat   I can't even quote a favorite part of this as I would copy the entire of it.

Yes, Barry, I do believe that your muse is very
much  alive!!  This is awesome!!
I had a favorite part to quote, but decided not
to, because it's all so beautiful. I didn't
want to leave anything out!!

Sir Magnus,

"for your unseen
smile is so treasured by me"

Such words can fill one's heart
to overflowing.
Touched, am I,
in having caught them
this morn.

Respectfully,
Lady Ollyne
