Where did van gogh
when the paint felt dry?
Where did he go
when his heart had to cry?

He went inside and found
rich colors most never see.
He reached inside the heart
and freed the soul
of ME.

This morning there’s a calm
I can’t explain-
By the time I recognize this
moment it will be gone
I will bend light
pretending it lingers on

Some speak in colors.
Others, in words.
Sometimes, a union is formed.
True art
remains in the gasp.

Well done, Kacy.

Karilea, Lee, Margherita
thank you for reading and commenting

Tomorrow, I'll be seeing a van Gogh as well as many other fine artistic treasures currently being displayed at the Denver Art Museum, including Picasso, el Greco, Monet, Manet, Degas etc etc.

*SIGH* stuff that DREAMS are made of....

thanks Marge, and Iliana

I have three van Goghs on my walls, for inspiration

too bad they are copies, but one shouldn't be greedy I suppose

nicely put

joy has its own justice. and dreams are languid and lawless. and everything bows to beauty, when it's fierce and when it's flawless...
