In Search Of You

Across the pacific ocean
Far away from my home town
I went into the wild desert
In search of you

I learned a new language
Abandoned my native tongue
And asked many strange faces
In search of you

To find the right answers
I stayed up all night long
Reading all sorts of books
In search of you

I exhausted my brain power
Exercising meditations
Through time and space
In search of you

Your image kept changing
That's the only thing I ever learned
A different purpose is there
In the search of you

It came out as a surprise
That all I have been trying
Was to find a true self
In the search of you
