Santa and Me

Santa and Me

I went and sat on Santa's lap
and whispered in his ear.
Wished a list that wasn't long,
a few things needed, dear.

Quite agreeable he was...
when answering to me.
I wondered if it bothered him,
my sitting on his knee...

He may have looked a second time,
as I got up to go.
A twinkle there, I thought I saw,
as he laughed, "Ho Ho Ho"...

And wished for me much happiness
come Christmas Day this year.
Reminding me to come again
when he will reappear.

Big smile here Maureen. I loved the poem, and can't stopped grinning at the picture. That's great!  I'll bet Santa loved it!

Merry Christmas to you!

Best wishes and hugs,
/Kit

Merry Christmas morning, Dixie,Margherita and Kit.

I hope your day brings a smile to your faces.

Dixie, you should do it next year. It's a very uplifting experience, although I felt I was butting into line of all those babies and small children.
The last time and first time I ever did it was on a dare, 5 years ago.

Thank you Margherita,  you are sweet for saying that.

And Kit..I had to ask Santa several times if he was sure he wanted me sitting on his lap.

Merry Christmas, Everyone

Maureen

I don't know if you got what you wanted for Christmas, Maureen, but I know one Santa who did!!! Some fictional characters get all the luck!!!!!

Merry Christmas, nice lady

Hi Sue,  there wasn't anything tangible on my list this year....
and  I probably won't get what I want...but  as long as I have some time
together with my sister this coming year, I will be very satisfied.

hugssss

Hmmmm  Michael, I figured you would eventually show up...
Santa did enjoy my visit. And he was a pretty realistic one.
Thank you, Deer. I hope you had an enjoyable day with more to come

Margie, I thought I detected a bit  of a ~smirk~ on his face.
I was all dressed up with nowhere to go that evening and
decided to see him while I was waiting  for The Lord
of the Rings movie to start. So my evening turned out
to be just fine.

Hope you are having a wonderful "family time"

Wynter,
how cute, how delightful. I hope you got what you wanted, as well as getting to sit on Santa's knee.
