all of three years, you have huge black eyes, easily your best features in your procelain face not yet tempered by the passing of time, they have a simplistic glow to them that's captivating--eyes that only speak of goodness yet your eyes didn't engage mine they seemed oblivious of my presence, fixated upon a spot which i couldn't quite fathom, lost in another world where i couldn't tag along are you lonely over there? your parents' condition entails your denial of the chance to charm gullible elders no easy flaunting of queer enunication and funky word-formations for you well-meaning adults raise eyebrows and wonder how exactly you can be reached, while trying hard to quash all thoughts of "gosh, this one's different!" i signed you the letters and voiced the alphabet, hoping that some day your eyes might engage mine, that you would tell me stories of your world all in a vain attempt to combat my helplessness |

HEY, friend! O, I've missed you and your portrait writes! There are many ways to communicate. Keep the lines open, you just never know which method will be the one that will bring a response. |
