Samson had Delilah
Who betrayed him with her spiel.
Road Runner had Coyote out
To have him for a meal.
Holmes had Moriarty
As his ever-present foe.
Batman had the Joker...
Here at Passions - we've got Toe.

Mighty oaks have dry-rot,
Orchids get a fungus.
That pales by comparison
To what we have among us.
Heads of hair have bald spots
We comb so it doesn't show.
Titanic had the iceberg....
Here at Passions - we've got Toe.

Ain't it strange how Mother Nature
Loves to mix and match?
Throw a fly in every ointment
Just to see us scratch?

Oceans have pollution.
Dogs and cats come down with fleas.
What we have is so much worse
Than any one of these...
Tweety had that "puddy tat"
To fill his life with woe
Riding Hood had big, bad wolf..
At Passions - we've got Toe!!

Michael, Michael, Michael...

I gotta let you know that just now, I startled my daughter with the loudest laugh she's heard from me in some time.

This is hilarious, and you are a gifted madman and Toe is a treasure.

Happy Holidays to you both.

So if in Florida where there's no snow,
a playful fight begins by throwing around some Toe?

What on earth would this place be without you?  OMG that was priceless, and if there is a prize for top slammer - you get my vote this year.  They have to work darn hard to top this one!  LOL, priceless!

Happy Holidays
Let there be peace on earth,
and let it begin with me.

I appreciate your candor and for the honest and forthright manner in which you portrayed Passions most notorious scallawag! Mind you, you are in the running for top billing in that category yourself, Dear Balls of Deer! lol

You made me laugh so loud that you got my wings vibrating violently and my halo fell off! lol

Big holiday hugs for you two lovable lugs!

You just gotta love it
These two we have for show
Passions presents The Balladeer
Balladeer bothers The Toe

I guess that's just the way it happens
Boy, these guys can flow
I would hate to lose The Balladeer
But I would hate more to lose The Toe

So here at Passion's we love them
But this you did not know
Toe really loves The Balladeer
The Balladeer really loves The Toe

Thank you once again for that great piece, Senior Balladeer. Just remember that soon The Toe will be right behind you with a piece about you.

I love you guys! Thank you for lighting up my poetry life!

Love,
Ladycat

Balladeer, this is great. A perfect description of TR. At least, from all I've read of him and the countless number of exchanges I've peeked at.

SG

TR how about an intro reply to Balladeer?
