Your story is my story And as the story goes If I should fail you, Then…to….I fail myself Transcending the world of a commonplace Enduring living embodiment inspired Humble origins command There a rightful place Into a new world of innocence Becoming our place As new love, legendaries begin Rite of passages ventures forth within There is an encounter fresh Honesty emerges from with depths Trust woven ascends Invincible warrior who suggests Decisive victory embraced by love Imperfect Your story is my story And as the story goes If I fail you, my love Then I to fail myself |

Many thanks to both of you for commenting I appreciate your taking the time... I hate to admit this, but I have never heard of Colin Wilson, and if I've quoted him, then, I apologize, but it wasn't an intended quote... Have a very Happy Thanksgiving to all of you |

the Colin Wison quote is in your critique message on the reply page... "Please be kind as I have a sensitive heart The mind has exactly the same power as the hands: not merely to grasp the world, but to change it. —Colin Wilson " Love the write too! |

oh boy, talk about feeling foolish, I'm so embarrased...I've forgotten what I've written...I remember seeing that quote a long time ago...and feeling the same way...but I would have never remembered if you hadn't pointed it out to me...please forgive a woman who forgets very easily. I am in awe of people who can recite they're poems, remembering every word of other poems, quotes, etc. I read a lot...write a lot, and yet, can never remember words, numbers, dates, titles of things, movies star names and it frustrates me. Talk about embarrassing moments, once while emailing a friend, I forgot how old I was and was devestated to find out I was one year older then I thought....sheeeshhhh! Well, thanks a bunch and have a great day. |

Hi Lee J. Just reading your apology. I think no need to apologize. I always say my brain is loosely connected, who's perfect anyway? Still a great write and a tribute to Colin Wilson for you remembered his words that touched you so, that without thought you buried them in the recesses of your mind, so that one day they would resurface and shine upon the world once again. It's always a wonderful tribute when we remember anothers words.Isn't it a wonderful thing called our mind. It has so many things of beauty stored away. Keep those words a flowing and I'll keep on reading. Love Bon-Bon |
