Hahaha..... When I first glanced at the title I thought it said "Bare Foot Roses" and thought I have to read this one. LOL Oh! My! Blind in one eye and can't see out of the other. Beautiful poem. Love Bon-Bon |

So what's the harm in asking for more? The worst she can do is show you the door! LOL There are those who do not ask Who turn their heads, instead to bask In thoughts it wouldn't matter anyway... Then wonder why nothing comes their way. Others find courage to take a chance Whether with heart or with garden's plants They're the ones who breathe the perfume Of both lasting love and roses' bloom. |

I love roses, Ed. How could she resist planting a rose with you....that is if she loves them, too!!! LOL To tell you the truth, I would plant anything with my Love!! She should jump at the chance, too, with you!! Oh, and do plant the "Peace" rose, like Karilea suggested. Those are the most beautiful rose. My favorite, too. Hugs Ethel |

Ed...this is beautiful. I was just telling my 13 year old daughter about your plant and flower series...you know I still can't get that oleander out of my mind...I think it's hanging 'round as a reminder to read Ratleader! Wonderful write. Patricia |

Compelling thoughts here Ed... Not always easy to bare the roots, and approach the garden open hearted... Smiling at you, TD |

I just want to see the roses bloom, months from now. Like new seeds we sew and look forward to.... As I do your poetry, Ratleader~ |
