A friendship so deep,
no questions asked,,,
an understanding so shared..
over a cup of coffee,
you've held me when i cried,,,
laughed loud at my bad jokes..
given advice,,,
sometimes taken it,,,,,
over a cup of coffee
no subject taboo,
no thoughts hidden,,,
taunts and fun,,,
seriousness and pain,,,
sometimes the coffee gets cold,,,
or doesnt get refilled,,,,,
hours go by,,,
all taken,,,
all given,,,
always my dearest friend,,,
over a cup of coffee

I'm not sure if you meant this to be literal or more of a metaphor but either way this really works and love it! I enjoyed the entire poem as well. Though I'll admittedly say I'm not a big fan of coffee (It makes nauseous!) I'll say I do notice how a cup of coffee can somhow bring people together in conversation. Whether it be a tradition or something that comes "naturally". Great read.

Not to sure about the taste of coffee, but it smells good

A poem full of feeling. What more could you ask for??
